Know Him

Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV)
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”

Today’s Devotional
Jesus never invited you to “do things.” He invited you to know Him. Christianity is not a rulebook, it’s a relationship. Do you know the God who lives within you? Have you spent quality time with Him? Today, shift your focus from Christianity being a religion, to Christianity being all about a relationship with Him!

Prayer
God, my desire is to know You. I know it’s not about the length of time I pray… but the quality of my time with You. Help me to know You on a deeper level. You’re my focus. In Jesus name, amen!
