Prayer through Transition

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for my friends, who are holding on in the middle. They’re no longer where they were but they’re not where they’re supposed to be; they are no longer where they were but they have not arrived to a new location. They’re no longer in their last season but they’ve not fully embraced the new season.

And all of our under footing and all of our undergirding feels like it’s gone, feels like nothing is stable and seems like everything is moving. And I, just here right now, encourage you in the name of Jesus, just hold on. Just hold on. Your hope anchors your soul and let your faith get deeper and deeper.

Sometimes God will unsettle the ground so the roots can go deeper and when the roots go deeper, the fruit gets richer. That’s what I’m declaring over your life. God, in this time when we’re in the middle of two different things, let our roots go deep so this time won’t shake us. We thank you for that in Jesus name, Amen.
