Trust is Earned?

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Today’s Devotional
It’s common to say that trust must be earned. However, how can you know if someone is trustworthy unless you trust them? Today, choose to be on the side of believing in someone. Don’t let previous bad experiences stop you from doing so today!

Prayer
God, I know people have betrayed my trust in the past, but I don’t want the past to poison my present. Help me to believe in others and to give people a chance. In Jesus name, amen!
