Be Prepared For What’s Next

Luke 19:1-6

“Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way. When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.”

Today’s Devotional
Preparation takes time and work but in the end it is always worth it. God always wants to bless his people but he wants to make sure they are prepared. Don’t be the person that has to scramble but be the one that is ready and willing.

Prayer
I am ready for you Lord. Through your word, wisdom and power I am ready for all that you have for me. I never want to be the one that is left behind because I didn’t prepare. So starting today I will look into my life and make sure I am ready. In Jesus name, Amen!

Go Deeper
If God would give you double of what you have now, would you be ready?
How can you begin to prepare starting now?
