Joshua 5:13-14

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?” So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?””

Today’s Devotional
The enemy wants to tear us down but God has instilled a fighting spirit within us. When we keep fighting we will overcome. Be an overcomer! Get your fighting spirit back!

Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, for those who feel exhausted and for those who feel tired, for those who feel weary, I just ask right now that by the Holy Spirit you infuse them with fire once again. And let them burn with passion once again. I pray that you would change their perspective and let them see beyond the hilltop, beyond the mountain, let them see the light at the end of the tunnel. Because of God there is always a next and this too shall pass. So, Lord, we retrieve that fighting spirit and we raise up and we set our feet in the ground and we know that it is God who always gives us the victory and always causes us to triumph. And this is the way we overcome the world, even our faith. In Jesus Name, we thank you. Amen!
