Prayer for Peace

“Lord, I ask for peace. I ask for the peace of God. I’m not going to ask for it to flood apartments and homes and marriages. Let it flood individuals’ hearts. Let it flood individuals’ minds. Set up a guard around it. Because You said it shall guard our hearts and minds. I pray that our peace would not move even when it seems like everything else is and that our peace would not change when it seems like everything else is. You said that Your peace You would leave with us. Not peace as the world gives. A peace that tries to calms things down. Your peace calms us down. And I thank You that we are calm in this storm. In Jesus’ name, amen!”
