Who’s Surrounding You?

Luke 4:22 (NKJV)
So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?”

Today’s Devotional
Jesus changed everything. Your standing with God is now perfect because He redeemed you. He’s declared you righteous positionally speaking. On the other hand, your condition changes gradually—it’s a process. With that in mind, who are you surrounding yourself with? Do they remind you of your past, or who you’re going to be? Today, don’t allow yourself to be pulled back by relationships that remind you of your past. Get around people that awaken possibilities, and not that bring you back to who you used to be!

Prayer
God, I’m not going back to who I was. My past is over. I am a new creation, and my eyes are on You! I will not let relationships pull me back anymore. I’m going to get around people who bring me closer to You! In Jesus’ name, amen!
